Visnagar - Nootan Coolege of Nursing, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, will observe the Cervical Cancer Awareness Month by organizing a special role play program on "Cervical Cancer: Awareness and Prevention".
The event will be held on 28 January 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at the Assembly Hall, C.N College, Visnagar.
The theme for this year is "Empower the storytellers", highlighting the importance of spreading awareness through personal stories and interactive learning. The program aims to educate students and the public about early detection, prevention methods and the importance of regular screening.
The program will be conducted under the guidance of Shri Prakash Patel, President, SPU (Chief Patron), with Prof. (Dr.) P. M. Udani, Provost, SPU, and Dr. J. R. Patel, Director of Health Sciences, SPU, as Patrons. Dr. N. Sivasubramanian, Dean, NCN, SPU, will serve as the Convener.The event is organized by faculty members including Dr. Rajeshwari Malviya, Ms. Payal Vaghela, Ms. Pransi Patel, and Ms. Riya Patel.
The college expects active participation from students to promote awareness and encourage preventive hhealthcare practices related to Cervical Cancer.
