Kolkata : Rabindra Bharati University has informed to all Ph.D. scholars admitted in the academic sessions of 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 under specific faculties at the University about the opportunity to apply for the Non-NET fellowship. The fellowship aims to support scholars who are not already receiving scholarships from other funding agencies.

To apply, scholars need to submit the filled-in Application Form and Annexure-I to the specified office by November 29, 2024, for online registration on the SVMCM portal at svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.  The online applications will then be forwarded to the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, for the fellowship consideration.

The fellowship amount for Ph.D. scholars is ₹8,000 per month for a maximum of 4 years. The Application Format and Annexure-I can be downloaded from the University website www.rbu.ac.in or obtained from the Development Office starting from September 24, 2024.

Once the filled-in application forms are submitted, the registration process for the scholars will be initiated by the designated office. Eligible Ph.D. scholars under the mentioned faculties are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
