National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, has announced recruitment for 10 Assistant Professor (Law) positions on a two-year contractual basis, with applications open until 4 March 2026.

Bengaluru: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, has released Notification inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Law) on a two-year contract.

A total of 10 unreserved vacancies have been announced. The positions cover all major law subjects, including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contracts, Property, Torts, Intellectual Property Rights, Company Law, Environmental Law, International Trade Law, and more. The pay structure is at Level 10 as per the VII CPC on a consolidated basis.

Selected candidates will be full-time faculty members and are expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses. They will teach design, evaluate assessments, guide students, participate in academic administration, and contribute to the intellectual life of the University.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Law with at least 55% marks (with relaxation for reserved categories as per norms). Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse student groups are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with quality publications and demonstrated academic excellence.
