Bengaluru : Nitte University is currently accepting registrations for their NUCAT exam (Nitte University Common Admission Test), which must be passed in order to enter their B.Tech program. The deadline for registering is January 21 (Saturday).

In order to be considered eligible for the exam, candidates need to have finished their class 12 exam or equivalent in India, with physics and mathematics as necessary subjects and either biology, chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, electronics or information technology, with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate also needs to have 45% marks (40% for those in the reserved category) in mathematics, physics, and one of the other subjects mentioned in class 12. The candidate also needs to be a legal adult (age must be 18).

There will be three NUCAT exams: the first exam will be held on February 3 to 5, the second will be held on April 14 to 16, and the third on May 12 to 14, with all being conducted in remotely proctored online mode. Candidates can choose which of the three exams they will take, and if a candidate writes all three exams, the best score of the three will be chosen. A registration fee also needs to be paid for each exam.
