National Institute of Technology Raipur invited online application from eligible candidates for ANRF-Junior Research Fellow (JRF) vacancy. The temporary research position came under a Funded Project in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering. The online application process via email has been started today, August 19, 2026. Candidates willing to make a career in chemical and related fields of engineering may apply on or before the due date by submitting the documents directly to the principal investigator.
Eligibility and Monthly Pay Scale
The eligibility criteria for NIT Raipur recruitment 2026 have been given below:
- Educational Qualification: The candidates applying for ANRF JRF position must have completed M.Tech or M.E. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
- National Tests: The applicants with valid GATE scores or NET qualified status will be preferred during the final selection.
- Monthly Pay: The selected candidate will get ₹31,000 per month apart from other benefits as per the institute norms.
- Project Term: The recruitment is purely temporary and the appointment will be for one year only.
How To Apply Online Before the Due Date?
The application process for NIT Raipur recruitment 2026 is quite simple and cost-effective. There will be no processing fees for this round of campus recruitment:
- Application Form: The candidates first of all, need to download the application form from the given website: nitrr.ac.in
- Attachments: They have to fill the application form and attach the self-attested copies of mark sheets along with the degree certificates and GATE/NET scorecards.
- Submit By Email: After completing the above step, applicants have to submit their application files via email to the project investigator before August 31, 2026.
- Email Subject: The subject of the email should contain 'Application for ANRF JRF Position in Chemical Engineering'.
Walk-In Interview on 1st September 2026
After receiving all the applications, NIT Raipur has scheduled walk-in interviews for the candidates on the campus premises on September 1, 2026. The applicants have to appear in front of the selection committee by 10:00 AM for document verification. They must carry the original copies of the documents mentioned below:
- Degree Certificates: The candidates are advised to bring original copies of degree certificates along with the category and other relevant certificates.
- Passport Size Photos: Along with the documents mentioned above, the candidates have to bring two recent passport-size photos and one set of printed self-attested copies of the documents. However, applicants appearing for a walk-in interview will not be provided any sort of TA/DA facilities.

The candidates recruited under the ANRF scheme will work in collaboration with professors and lab assistants to conduct various chemical experiments while utilizing all sorts of modern machinery and equipment. The research scholars will also be involved in interpreting the results of the experiments carried out in the lab and publishing them in reputed journals.
