Goa: The National Institute of Technology Goa is preparing to host an international conference dedicated to the impact of technology on healthcare in February 2027.
Organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the institute, the event, named Computing and Artificial Intelligence for E-Health Systems (CARES 2027), will gather researchers, professionals, and experts from around the globe.
The conference will concentrate on how technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and smart systems are transforming contemporary healthcare. Key topics will include medical data processing, image-based diagnostics, and concerns regarding security and privacy in digital health systems.
According to the organisers, the event aims to establish a platform for individuals from various fields to come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate on solutions for real-world health issues. It will also promote cooperation among academia, industry, and government entities.
The conference will include keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel discussions, and poster presentations. A doctoral colloquium will also be conducted to provide research scholars with a chance to showcase their work and receive constructive feedback.
In addition to knowledge sharing, the event is anticipated to offer networking opportunities for attendees, enabling them to connect with experts and explore potential collaborations in the expanding field of e-health.
As healthcare increasingly depends on technology, events like CARES 2027 are expected to significantly influence discussions surrounding innovation and practical applications within the sector.
