Durgapur, West Bengal : The Department of Physics at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur has announced a walk-in interview for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology & Biotechnology (DSTBT), Government of West Bengal.
Project Focuses on Synthesis of Semiconductor and Metal Nanostructures
The project, titled "Synthesis of Semiconductor and Metal Nanostructures and the Investigation of Their Role as Active or Passive Scatterer in Random Laser Generation", aims to explore the properties of nanostructures and their applications in random laser generation.
Eligible Candidates Invited to Attend Walk-in Interview
Candidates with a first-class PG degree in Physics/Applied Physics or Electronics, and experience in research work in the relevant field, are invited to attend the walk-in interview on September 24, 2024, at 11 A.M. at the Department of Physics, NIT Durgapur.
Fellowship and Accommodation Details
The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- per month and may be provided with bachelor accommodation in the institute hostel subject to availability.
