New Delhi | February 17, 2026 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Response Sheets for the NIFT Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now view the answer keys and raise objections online through the official website.
The answer keys have been released for the General Ability Test (Shift 1) conducted for both UG and PG programmes of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Details
The NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 was conducted on 8 February 2026 (Sunday) across 129 examination centres in 97 cities in CBT and PBT modes. The exam was held in Hindi and English mediums for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, and lateral entry programmes.
The programmes covered include:
- Bachelor of Design (B.Des.)
- Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.)
- Master of Design (M.Des.)
- Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.)
- Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.)
- NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) for B.Des. and B.F.Tech.
Answer Key Challenge Dates and Fee
- Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key from 17 February to 19 February 2026 (up to 11:50 PM) by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.
- The processing fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. No challenge will be accepted without successful payment, and objections submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
How to Challenge NIFT Answer Key 2026
- Candidates can follow these steps to raise objections:
- Visit the official website: exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
- Click on “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key”
- Log in using Application Number and Password
- Select the question(s) to challenge
- Choose the correct option and upload supporting documents (single PDF)
- Save the claim and proceed to payment
- Pay ₹200 per question and submit
Important Points for Candidates
- If a challenge is found correct, the answer key will be revised for all candidates.
- Results will be prepared based on the final answer key.
- No individual communication will be sent regarding acceptance or rejection of challenges.
- The decision of subject experts on the final answer key will be final and binding.
