Organization of Three Day Workshop for Enhancing Capacity of Higher Education Teachers by Netaji Subhas Open University.

Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is going to organize three days workshop

Kolkata: Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is going to organize three days workshop for Enhancing Capacity of Higher Education Teachers from 25th to 27th March, 2022.

The three days workshop by NSOU will be organized jointly in collaboration with Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA), a regional educational media centre of Commonwealth of Learning, for Commonwealth Asia, established at New Delhi in 1994.

The objectives of the workshop intends:

  • To improve the knowledge and skills of teachers/academics in higher education to develop and offer Online/Blended Course.
  • To enable the staff/faculty members to the process of planning, designing, developing and delivering online courses.
  • To adopt appropriate ICT tools and learning platforms as an adjunct to face-to-face teaching and to teach in a full online or distance learning context.
  • To find out the prospects and challenges of providing online/blended learning in the context of Higher Education Institutions in West Bengal.

The teachers working in the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in West Bengal and interested research may participate in the workshop. The maximum intake capacity of the participants is 50 due to the Covid protocol.

Since the workshop will be held through Face-to-Face mode at Headquarters of the University, all the COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) will be strictly adhered in the campus.

The venue for the workshop is at NSOU Headquarters, DD-26, Sector-I, Salt Lake City, Kolkata- 700064.

The participants participating in the workshop will also get the participation certificate will be issued to all active participants as said by the University. Hence interested candidates can apply for the workshop through the Registration Form available on the University website before 18th March, 2022.
