New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the latest NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 seat matrix, giving candidates another reference to consider while finalizing their college and course options. The MCC document dated September 24 carries 183 vacant MBBS and BDS seats that have newly become available in various categories across several institutes.

For candidates still waiting to secure their preferred college and course, NEET UG 2026 Round 3 allotment is scheduled for September 30. The registration and fee payment window for the third round will remain open till September 27 while choice filling and locking will be allowed till September 28.

NEET UG Counselling 2026: What the New Seat Matrix Represents

The newly added-seat document, which has a total of 183 seats, presents the vacant MBBS seats in government and deemed universities and BDS seats in one deemed university. The newly added vacant seats are available in Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tripura, Uttarakhand and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

The categories include BC, EW, OP, SC and ST for Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College among others while Datta Meghe Dental College lists 100 BDS seats under the self-financed merit seat and OP category.

Where Are the New MBBS Seats Located?

Of the 183 new vacant seats, 50 MBBS seats have been added at Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal in the category of deemed-university seats. The Agartala Government Medical College in Tripura has eight MBBS seats while the Late Jagjivan Ram Government Medical College in Uttarakhand has seven MBBS seats.

The newly added seats in the Namo Medical Education & Research Institute in Silvassa are three MBBS seats, covering the BC, OP and SC categories
