NEET UG 2026 Card for the June 21 Resit is Available

For the June 21 NEET (UG) 2026 Re-examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards from June 14, 2026. The notice, which is signed by the NTA Director General, states that the examination will be from 2.00 PM to 5:15 PM and will be conducted in an offline pen and paper format. Candidates can access their admit cards via the login portal at neet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.

This re-examination will take place due to the May 3, 2026 NEET UG 2026 examination being cancelled after the alleged leak of the question paper. The National Testing Agency, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, will be conducting a new nationwide examination with improved security and monitoring. Approximately 22.75 lakh candidates registered for the original examination, while 22.05 lakh candidates actually appeared for it, prior to the exam being cancelled and the date being rescheduled.

The release of this admit card is a significant step forward for the medical candidates who are vying to enroll in MBBS, BDS, and other medical related undergraduate courses. The notice also states that students should review the Information Bulletin along with the admit card itself, as the examination center will be mentioned in those. Any candidates experiencing access issues are instructed to contact neetug2026@nta.ac.in or use the helpline numbers 011-40759000 or 011-69227700.

Bank Account Verification Required Before Downloading

Candidates are required to verify their bank account details for a refund before downloading their admit card this cycle. This is part of a new procedure for the refund of the exam fee for the cancelled May 3 exam. NTA stated that some candidates submitted incorrect or incomplete bank details with invalid bank account schemes. For this reason, NTA opened a correction window to ensure the refunds are processed to the correct beneficiaries.

Candidates are required to visit neet.nta.nic.in, select the admit card link for the NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Exam, and login with their application number, password, and the security code. Verification of Bank Account details is mandatory for the download and printing of the admit card.

Candidates will need to print the admit card multiple times. Candidates will also need to carry the admit card and a valid government-issued photo ID to the exam. NTA's guidelines also state that candidates may only bring water in a clear bottle. All other items, including other electronic devices, are prohibited.

Because of the new exam, candidates are strongly urged not to wait until the last minute to download the admit card. This should be done as soon as possible in case there are technical issues with the website.
