New Delhi :- The application window for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) will close on March 9. Candidates who are yet to submit their forms can fill applications at the official website — neet.ntaonline.in. The correction window and date of release of admit card will be announced later by the agency.
The application form was released on February 9. The NEET UG form filling process is being held at the new official website — neet.ntaonline.in. As per the official notification, the exam will be conducted on May 5.
While applying for NEET UG 2024, all candidates are required to upload address proof (present and permanent) in the form of Aadhar card, domicile certificate, passport, voter ID, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded as a single pdf file. If the present and permanent addresses of a candidate are same, then the same document will suffice, NTA said.
NEET UG 2024: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — neet.ntaonline.in
Step 2: If you are a new student, apply through the ‘new registration’ link, or login through the link.
Step 3: Click on new registration and fill in details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email address
Step 4: Once registered, login using your application number and password.
Step 5: Fill the application form
Step 6: Save, submit and pay the fees
Step 7: Download the application form for future reference
The agency has also instructed candidates to use mobile number and email address that belongs to them, parents or guardians as all information/communication related to NEET will be sent to registered email or phone number only.
While filling the online application form, aspirants need to pay an application fee. For Indian candidates belonging to General Category, the registration fee is Rs 1,700. However, there are relaxations for the reserved categories. For General-EWS/ OBC-NCL, the application fee is Rs 1,600 and for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ third gender, it is Rs 1,000,
