The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) published the NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 seat matrix, showing 2,423 clear-vacancy DM, MCh, and DNB super-speciality programme seats and 5,605 virtual seats. Candidates may register for Round 2 via the MCC Super Speciality counselling portal till August 10. Choice filling, and choice locking may be done till August 11. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on August 13, 2026.

Steps to Register for NEET SS Round 2 Counseling 2025

The registration process can only be completed by visiting the MCC Super Specialty counselling portal. Candidates will be required to:

  • Visit the official MCC Super Specialty counselling portal.
  • Navigate to the NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 registration link.
  • Complete the login/ registration step.
  • Complete the form with the necessary personal and educational details.
  • Submit payment for the counselling fee.
  • Order preferences for DM, MCh, or DNB.
  • Lock preferences.
  • Maintain confirmation/ payment documentation.

Candidates will be required to confirm eligibility and the seat matrix before preferences are locked.

 

Who Can Participate in Round 2?

Round 2 includes DM, MCh, and DNB super-speciality admission candidates. According to MCC rules, candidates who did not take part in Round 1 or candidates eligible to take part according to the newly revised counselling rules will be included.

Significant is the fact that candidates who resigned from Round 1 and did so in the time allowed will be included in Round 2 under the rules that apply. According to Careers360, those candidates will not need to pay the registration fee and security deposit again. What Happens After You Are Assigned a Seat?

The NEET SS Round 2 seat allotment is set to be declared on August 13. Allotted candidates of DM, MCh or DNB will be required to fulfil the admission formalities and report to the allotted institution between August 14 and August 20.
