NEET cutoff marks decrease this year

:- Out of 17,64.571 candidates, 9,93,069 candidates qualified for the exam. Girls outshine boys by over 1.3 lakh in qualifying for the exam

New Delhi: The cutoff marks of NEET UG have decreased this year for both reserved and unreserved categories. The qualifying marks range is 715 out of 720 but they did not share the top rank list like last year. This year four candidates scored the highest marks in the NEET UG. However, in 2021 the qualifying range for General/EWs PwD candidates was 116-105 as against 137- 122 in 2021. This year's qualifying marks range for disabled among OBC, SC/ ST candidates was 104-93.

This year NTA used a new tier breaker policy to award the first rank to Tanishka, Ashish Batra is in second spot.

According to National Testing Agency officials, nine factors in a pre-decided order have been used as a tire breaker to decide the ranks of candidates.
