Agra - Dayalbagh Educational Institute(DEI), Agra has announced the Virtual Lab Hackathon 2026, a national-level hackathon focused on designing and developing innovative Virtual Labs solutions in line with the AICTE-approved syllabus for undergraduate engineering and science laboratories. The event is being organized under the Virtual Labs initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
As per the schedule, the online PPT and MVP submission deadline was January 30,2026. The offline final round of the hackathon will be conducted on February 6 and 7, 2026, at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute Campus, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
The hackathon is open to U.G, P.G and Diploma students from engineering and science disciplines. Participants are required to compete in teams up to 4 members. The event aims to encourage experimental learning and innovation through technology-enabled laboratory education.
Top-performing teams will be rewarded with a summer internship opportunity in Virtual Labs, along with a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 per candidate. Additionally, certificates will be awarded to all shortlisted teams, recognizing their contribution and participation.
