A national webinar on “Career Counselling & Career Guidance” was organized 13thMay 2023 by the B.Voc Biomedical Sciences, School of Life-long Learningat Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University inaugurated the webinar and emphasized the importance of career counseling. He also points out the role of hard work, determination and dedication in student’s life. He appreciated the initiative taken by the B.Voc Biomedical Sciences to conduct such a program specifically for students and faculty members.
Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Dean,School of Life-long Learning delivered the welcome address and briefed about the program. He also informed that such webinars would also be conducted in the future in order to give an opportunity for the scholars to interact with eminent resource persons. Dr. Manisha Pandey, organizing secretary of the event informed that around 200 students and faculty members from different parts of India attended and gained knowledge about career options in sales and marketing. She also informed that Distinguished industry expert Mr. Sunil Malkany, an industry expert conducted the webinar. Mr. Sunil Malkany told that "Indian sales and marketing is the fastest-growing field and has an immense opportunity for a job for freshers. However, competence and commitment are required for a successful career". Additionally, Dr. Richa and Dr. Anuranjeeta supported as team members. Later, Mr. Zaid, the student’s coordinator gave a vote of thanks of the webinar. On this occasion, Dr. Rohit K. Verma, Dr. Mamta, Dr., and Dr. BapiGorain, were also present at this event.
