Haryana :- Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is going to organize special programs on 27th and 28th February to commemorate National Science Day. The theme of this program is ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’. On the occasion of National Science Day, on 27th February, an exhibition of notable works, research and innovations by various departments of CUH, local schools and colleges, will be organized in the University campus. On this occasion poster making, working model, Best out of waste, speech, painting and quiz competitions will be organized. In this sequence, an expert lecture will be organized on 28th February. The patron of this program is the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar while Prof. Chetan Prakash Kaushik from Bhabha Atomic Research Center will be the chief guest and Prof. Amitava Sen Gupta from CSIR National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi will be present as a guest of honour in the event. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the events to be held on 27th and 28th February on the occasion of National Science Day will especially focus on ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’.

Prof. A.K. Yadav and Prof. Harish Kumar, Conveners, National Science Day Organizing Committee in the University,said that the series of events will be inaugurated with a science exhibition. On this occasion, various departments of CUH and local schools and colleges will showcase their notable works through various exhibitions in front of Academic Block 1 of the University. He said that in this series of programs, poster making, working model, best out of waste, speech, painting and quiz competitions focused on Idea for Innovation will be organized on 27th February. On this occasion, District Education Officer, Mahendragarh Mr. Sunil Dutt will be present as a guest of honour. The event will conclude with an expert lecture on National Science Day on 28th February. Prof. A.K. Yadav and Prof. Harish Kumar said that the ongoing preparations regarding 27th and 28th February are in their final stage and for this program, various departments of the University and the teachers and researchers associated with it are making efforts to organize it successfully as per the schedule.
