New Delhi: The Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is a scholarship scheme implemented through State Governments and Union Territory Administrations.  

This scheme Provides financial assistance to scheduled caste students to study after matriculation or at secondary level so that they can complete their education. 

Students studying in India are eligible for the scholarship scheme, which will be provided by the government of the State/Union Territory to which the applicant belongs and is domiciled.

The scholarship includes the following grouping:

Group 1: Degree and Post Graduate Level Professional Courses - Rs.7000 per annum, Hostel Rs. 13500 per year 

Group 2: Day Scholar Rs.3000 per annum Hostel - Rs.6000 per annum

Group 3: Other Professional courses for Degree, Diploma, Certificate Day Scholar - Rs.6500 per annum, Hostel Rs.9500 per annum 

Group 4: All Post-Matriculation (Non-Degree Courses after Class X Day Scholar Rs.2500 per annum, Hostel Rs.4000 per year
