Kolkata - Techno India University, West Bengal, is set to host the National Moot Court Competition 2024 on August 9th and 10th, 2024. The event, organized by the School of Legal Science, TIU, aims to bring together talented law students from across the country to debate and discuss the theme "Freedom of Trade".
Renowned Judges to Preside Over the Competition
The competition will be judged by an esteemed panel of legal experts, including Prof. Niraj Kumar from National Law University (NLU), Delhi, Ashim Kumar Roy, former Judge of Calcutta High Court, Professor (Dr.) Sarasu Esther Thomas from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, Dr. Yashomati Ghosh from NLSIU, Bangalore, and Dipankar Bhattacharya, IGP Traffic, WB.
Attractive Prizes and Registration Details
The winning team will receive a cash prize of ₹20,000, along with a trophy and certificate. The 1st runner-up team will receive ₹15,000, and the 2nd runner-up team will receive ₹10,000. Registration deadlines are August 2nd, 2024, for teams and August 5th, 2024, for memorial submissions. Early bird offers and discounts are available for early registrations.
Team Composition and Eligibility
Each team can consist of a maximum of 3 members, and multiple teams can participate from the same institute.
