Coimbatore - The Department of Textiles and Clothing, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women (Deemed to be University), Coimbatore, has announced a National Symposium on “AI Integrated Nano-technological Applications in Textile Manufacturing”, scheduled to be held on 07 February 2026.
The symposium is designed for faculty members, researchers, manufacturers and professionals from the field of textiles, clothings and alleged disciplines.The event aims to provide a platform to explore emerging trends , encouraged interdisciplinary discussions and promote the application of artificial intelligence and nanotechnology in modern textile manufacturing processes.
The programme will commence at 9:30 AM and will be hosted at the Hi-Tech Seminar Hall of the Institute. Participants will receive participation certificates and the event will also include a visit to the to the centralised multidisciplinary research facilities available at the institutions.
The registration fee is ₹600, applicable to faculty members, researchers and other participants. Registration and fee remittance will be carried out through online mode as specified by the organisers. The symposium is expected to foster knowledge exchange, innovation and collaboration between academic and industry, strengthening research and technological advancement in the textile sector.
