Vadodara: The The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has announced Ph.D. admissions for the academic year 2025–26 (Second Half) across multiple disciplines.
According to the official notification issued by the university, eligible candidates who have completed a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the doctoral programmes.
Candidates whose master’s degree results are declared in the form of grades or CGPA must convert them into percentages as per the rules of their respective universities while applying.
Applicants who have qualified national-level examinations such as UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, JRF, SET, ICAR, ICMR, DBT, or similar eligibility tests may also apply for admission to the Ph.D. programme. Candidates who have already completed an M.Phil. degree are also eligible to apply.
The university has stated that the application fee is ₹1,000, and applicants must download the application form from the university website and submit it along with the required documents and fee receipt to the concerned faculty.
The last date for submission of applications is March 24, 2026. Details regarding department-wise vacancies and eligibility criteria are available in the annexures provided by the university.
Officials noted that the admission process will be conducted according to the prescribed university guidelines and eligibility conditions.
