
LUCKNOW, 8th September 2025: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow hosted Mr. Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airport, on campus for the launch of the scholarship program under the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP) today, 8th September 2025.
The initiative, designed to provide support to the institute's deserving students, was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Ashish Rajvanshi, Chief Executive Officer, Adani Defence and Aerospace; Mr. Sudhir Mattoo, Group Chief People Officer, Adani Group; Ms. Subhashrie R. Venkatraj, Senior Vice President & Head of Technology for Talent Acquisition at Adani Enterprises Ltd.; Prof. Sanjay K. Singh, Dean (Programme); Prof. Suresh Jakhar, Professor; Prof. Alok Dixit, Chairperson PGP, and Prof Prem Prakash Dewani. Chairperson, Placement, among others.
The Adani Accelerated Leadership Program Scholarship will provide an opportunity to IIM Lucknow students to apply for the scholarship. This will involve an application process followed by evaluations through AALP selection metrics. For the current year, six students from the first-year batch will be selected. From next year onwards, the number of awardees is expected to increase, including both first and second year students. Ms. Subhashrie R. Venkatraj introduced the scholarship to the IIM Lucknow students during the event.
Highlighting the importance of education in determining the nation’s future, Mr. Adani interacted with the students in a panel discussion. He highlighted the importance of education in determining the nation's future in his speech. He underscored how crucial industry–academia partnership is to expanding student opportunities.
During his address, Mr. Adani said, “With GDP per capita rising and demand for roads, railways, airports, and metros growing faster than ever, the convergence of technology and infrastructure where AI and digitalisation are redefining how we build and operate assets, is truly transformative. With strong public-private partnerships, domestic capital, and global investments, India is poised for a transformative leap in infrastructure.”

The visit concluded with a fireside chat between Mr. Adani and IIM Lucknow students, where topics including early leadership opportunities, customer-centric innovation, the convergence of technology and infrastructure, and the importance of purpose driven careers were discussed.
IIM Lucknow, in collaboration with the Adani Group, is exploring multiple initiatives. Further details will be announced as they near materialisation.
