New Delhi: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) supplies multilingual textbooks for maths, physics, chemistry, and biology for the eleventh grade students. The textbooks have ISBNs and are printed in Mizoram. The new class 11 bilingual physics textbook is 384 pages long and costs Rs 300. The biology textbook is 406 pages long and costs Rs 250. The chemistry textbook is 517 pages long and costs Rs 300. The mathematics textbook is 205 pages long and costs Rs 250. 500 copies of mathematics and 1000 copies of each of physics, chemistry, and biology were included in the first editions. MBSE book sellers are currently selling these textbooks.

It should be mentioned that the Mizoram government was the first in India to use bilingual textbooks for classes 9 and 10. The MBSE initiated the initiative in 2022, and classes 9 and 10 pupils used these bilingual textbooks during the initial deployment in the 2023–2024 academic year. Bilingual science and maths textbooks for class 12 are now being developed by the MBSE.
