New Delhi: The Ministry of Education has commenced online registrations for Yuva Sangam – Phase VI under the national initiative Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) from 2 March 2026. The programme is aimed at strengthening emotional and cultural bonds among young people across different parts of India through structured youth exchanges.
Yuva Sangam is a flagship youth exchange programme of the Department of Higher Education which focuses on facilitating educational and cultural exposure visits between representatives of paired States and Union Territories. The initiative is open to youth aged 18–30 years, including students from Higher Education Institutions, volunteers from National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Youth Corps (NYKS).

The press release noted that Phase V of Yuva Sangam received over 46,000 registrations from across the country and saw more than 6,000 youth and coordinators participate in tours since its pilot launch in 2022.
In Phase VI, 22 Higher Education Institutions have been designated as nodal centres to lead the programme with selected participants undertaking five to seven-day educational and cultural tours to paired States/UTs.
The programme’s activities are structured around five thematic pillars- Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions & Culture), Pragati (Development & Governance), Paraspar Sampark (People-to-People Connect)and Prodyogiki (Technology & Innovation). Through visits, interactions and cultural engagements, participants gain exposure to the cultural heritage, development initiatives, and innovation ecosystem of their paired regions, in line with objectives of the National Education Policy 2020.
