MCC Opens NRI Status Conversion Window for NEET PG 2025 Candidates

MCC has opened the window for NEET PG 2025 candidates to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI for Round 2 counselling. Submit all documents via email by 8 AM on December 3, 2025. Check required documents and official guidelines.

New Delhi. : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an important notification for NEET PG 2025 aspirants who wish to convert their nationality status from Indian to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) for participation in Round 2 of the counselling process.

The committee has urged candidates to strictly follow the submission timeline and documentation rules, noting that delayed or incomplete applications will not be considered under any circumstances.

Application Window & Submission Method

Candidates applying for NRI status conversion must submit their documents only through email to nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com.

  • Window Opened: 11:00 AM, December 1, 2025
  • Window Closes: 8:00 AM, December 3, 2025

The MCC has clarified that any email sent before the opening time or after the closing deadline will be rejected outright.

To avoid processing delays, all required documents must be compiled and sent in a single email. Multiple emails or partial document submissions will not be accepted.

Documents Required for NRI Status Verification
1. NEET PG Documents

  • NEET PG Admit Card
  • NEET PG Scorecard

2. Proof of NRI Status of Parent/Relative (any one)

  • Valid Passport
  • Visa, Residence Permit, or Work Permit
  • OCI/PIO Card (if applicable)
  • NRI Certificate issued by an Embassy/Indian Consulate

3. Relationship Certificate

  • A Family Tree–based certificate issued by a competent Revenue Authority verifying the relationship between the candidate and the sponsoring NRI relative

4. Affidavit from NRI Relative

  • Notarised affidavit confirming financial sponsorship for the candidate’s entire education and living expenses
  • Must be supported by NRE Bank Account Passbook

5. Academic Records

  • Class 10 Marksheet and Passing Certificate
  • Class 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate

6. Birth Certificate
7. Passport (Optional)

  • Candidate’s passport
  • Sponsor’s passport
