Manipur Board Releases 2026 Datesheet: Class 11 Exams from Feb 16, Class 12 from Feb 17

Imphal : The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM), has officially released the 2026 board exam datesheet for Class 11 and Class 12, giving students ample time to plan and prepare for the upcoming examinations. The detailed timetable is now available on the council’s website cohsemanipur.nic.in.

According to the schedule, Class 11 theory exams will begin on February 16, 2026, while Class 12 theory exams will commence on February 17, 2026. Meanwhile, the Class 12 practical examinations will be conducted earlier—from January 2 to January 31, 2026.

Exam Arrangements & Special Instructions

COHSEM has notified that schools with fewer than 10 candidates in a subject will have their students shifted to other designated institutions for both theory and practical examinations.

Schools must upload practical exam marks through the official portal using their login credentials between January 3 and February 2, 2026, with the final cut-off for submissions on February 3, 2026.

The Higher Secondary theory exams will continue to be held in a single morning shift, maintaining COHSEM’s traditional pattern.

Previous Years’ Performance Highlights

In 2024, the Manipur Class 12 exams recorded an impressive 94% pass rate, with girls topping all three streams.

• Science: Riya Khwairakpam (Comet School) – 490/500

• Arts: Keisham Hannah Devi (Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School) – 479/500

• Commerce: Warepam Lidia Devi (TG Higher Secondary School) – 463/500

Government schools performed strongly with an 89.95% pass rate, while non-government schools achieved 95.66%. Students from private institutions topped Science and Arts, while a government school topper led the Commerce stream.
