Varanasi: Under the National Policy on Education (NEP), the semester system has also been implemented in the undergraduate courses of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. In such a situation, now the examination is being conducted twice a year. At the same time, the candidates will now have to pay the examination fee twice. Not only this, now students will have to pay an additional fee for the examination of vocational and skill development courses.
The examination committee of Kashi Vidyapeeth has directed the affiliated colleges to conduct skill development examinations at their own level. After conducting the examination, the colleges have to upload the skill development marks on the university portal. At the same time, many affiliated colleges were hesitant in conducting skill development exams due to lack of fees.
