Lucknow: The University of Lucknow will organise Rozgaar Mahakumbh (Pink Edition) on March 8, 2026, aimed at providing employment opportunities specifically for women candidates.
The placement initiative is being conducted by the Central Placement Cell of the university under Uttar Pradesh Government’s largest integrated employment platform. The event is part of the state’s Pink Employment Movement, which focuses on improving employment opportunities for women.
The job fair will take place at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Final-year and pass-out female students are eligible to participate. The organisers expect participation from more than 50 leading companies, including major recruiters from sectors such as banking, retail, electronics, logistics, and e-commerce.
Companies likely to take part include Flipkart, Amazon, Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Pantaloons, Tata Electronics, ZepTo, Croma, and KFC, among others.
Officials stated that more than 5,000 female candidates are expected to participate in the job fair, where companies will conduct direct interviews and offer career opportunities across various sectors.
The event aims to bridge the gap between talent and employment while strengthening women’s participation in the workforce.
