Patna: The list of candidates who have applied for appointment as Guest Faculty in the subjects of Philosophy, Economics, Psychology, Sociology and Hindi at Patna University must appear for document verification between 24th to 31st March at specified date, time and venue given against their names in the notification issued on official Patna University website https://pup.ac.in/Notification.aspx  on March 14. 

PU issued instructions for the applicants called for the document verification.  The candidates are required to bring a hard copy of duly filled online application form along with a recent photograph signed and affixed, and self-attested copy of all the certificates and documents along with the original documents for verification. The candidates must also carry their original Journal with ISSN number where the papers have been published. In support of their teaching experience, the candidate must produce the experience certificate duly countersigned by the Registrar at the time of document verification, failing which weightage of the concerned certificate will not be given.

PU had issued a notice on March 7 regarding the document verification and interview of candidates for Guest Faculty at the University.  The circular informed that only credential verification will be done on given dates for separate subjects. After the verification of credentials based on the eligibility criterion a separate interview letter will be issued to the  candidates individually. The PU took this step due to wrong academic credentials filled by many candidates.

The document verification for Commerce had already been conducted on 8th and 9th March,2022 and for Chemistry on 14th March, 2022.
