Kurukshetra,  :  Kurukshetra University,Kurukshetra is  inviting the nomination for Goyal Prizes and Rajib Goyal Prizes for Young Scientists for the period  2021-2022.  These prizes are instituted to honour Indian scientists who have made a mark in research in  basic and applied sciences.

Prizes of these two categories are awarded in the following four disciplines.

1. Applied Sciences
2. Chemical Sciences 
3. Life Sciences 
4. Physical Sciences

While Goyal Prize in each discipline carries Rupees two lakh in cash along with a medal and citation,  Rajib Goyal Prize for Young Scientists carries Rupees one lakh in cash along with a medal and citation.  The university council decided that nominees for Rajib Goyal Prize for Young Scientists should not be more than 45 years of age. The university has already circulated the Google form in campus as nominations had been decided to be submitted electronically/digitally via the Google form link.
