Hyderabad, July 2026: The Shri P. V. Narasimha Rao Memorial Charitable Trust awarded KLH Bachupally Campus the Institutional Excellence Award to honor the campus’ valued contributions to social work, community and humanitarian services.
His Excellency, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, presented this award at a unique special felicitation. This award acknowledges the efforts of KLH, who made a consistent and positive social impact through their outreach programs and volunteer-based services.
KLH Bachupally Campus has been at the forefront of voluntary blood donation efforts in Hyderabad. KLH campus has coordinated numerous blood donation drives that directly benefit thousands of patients in need.
Beyond the blood donations, the campus has organized health education programs, cleanliness drives, outreach campaigns, community service activities through environmental programs, and the National Service Scheme (NSS). Acting as a motivating force, these programs and activities drive students of the KLH campus to take on social responsibility.
When reflecting on the accomplishment, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, mentioned:
“Education beyond the classroom is what we advocate for at our campus. We appreciate the importance of socially responsible people in society and not only of people with high academic performance. While this award provides us with the momentum to push harder and further for our advocacy of serving our society by working in the community and extending our help through our participation and volunteering, it bolsters our resolve."
This recognition is the result of the hard work of the faculty members and the leadership of Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal of KLH Bachupally Campus, actively seeking social community work with the students and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, in fulfilling the mission.
This award strengthens the goals of KLH which is to create graduates who are exemplary in their professions, but who are also leaders and socially responsible.
