Patna: Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour in Bhagalpur district of Bihar will organize a Kisan Mela between March 26 to 28, 2022 themed on “Technologies for improving Rural Livelihood Security”.

Sponsorship facilities for the same are availing Gold and Silver sponsors amounting to 1,00,000 and 50,000 respectively. The main highlights of the event include– new technologies developed by the university, exhibition of different types of seeds and saplings, exhibition of quality augmented produce prepared by the farmers, flower and animal exhibition, Agricultural produce exhibition, farmer conference, competition and cultural event, honor to progressive farmers, Agricultural tours in campus and case studies on living examples.

Kisan Mela is an important annual event of the University which is aimed at creating awareness about new agriculture-based technologies and farmer friendly researches that are conducted to enhance production, productivity and income of the farmers. It is important in receiving feedback from various stakeholders.
