Revaluation, Scrutiny, and Photocopy

Not all students who were unsure about their marks had the same need. Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan offered three different post-result services for SSLC 2026, and it is essential to know the difference before checking what the modified result shows.

Revaluation is the process of assigning a new examiner to the answer script for a complete recheck. Scrutiny does not assign a new examiner to the answer script. Instead, scrutiny checks for errors in totalling, unattempted questions, or errors in mark entry. Through a photocopy request, the student can download a scanned image of their answer script to see the reasons for the marks allocated.

Students who requested revaluation for a subject were not required to request scrutiny for the same subject.

Important details for the services:

  • Revaluation fee (Ref 2025): Rs 400 per subject
  • Scrutiny fee (Ref 2025): Rs 50 per subject
  • Photocopy fee (Ref 2025): Rs 200 per subject
  • IT practical papers: Not eligible for revaluation, scrutiny, or photocopy
  • Application verification: Only applications for which the fee has been paid are confirmed by the Headmaster
  • Photocopy results: Are published in the portal around the same time as the results for revaluation

Students who requested a photocopy are able to download their scanned answer script from the sslcexam.kerala.gov.in after the board processes the request. Revaluation does not guarantee an increase in scores. Increases, no changes, or minor decreases in scores are expected after the recheck.

The Process for Checking the SSLC Revaluation Result 2026 and the Next Steps

Reviewing revised results is straightforward. Students need their Registration Number and Date of Birth, which are required in the main SSLC result, as well. The revaluation result link is posted on the homepage of the official portal.

Kerala SSLC Revaluation Result 2026 access procedures:

  • Go to the official portal at sslcexam.kerala.gov.in
  • Find the link that says "SSLC Examination March 2026 - Revaluation Results"
  • You can go directly to sslcexam.kerala.gov.in/revaluation_results.php
  • Type your Registration Number and Date of Birth into the requested fields
  • The revised result will be shown after you click Submit
  • Updated scorecards are to be printed and saved.

If revaluation results are higher and a student's grade in the subject is changed from D to D+, the student is now eligible for Higher Studies and the result status changes from NHS (Not Higher Studies eligible) to EHS (Eligible for Higher Studies). In this situation, the board will update the digital scorecard and will send a new SSLC certificate to the school. If this is the case, the student is to contact their school headmaster as soon as possible to revise the eligibility for Plus One admission, prior to the HSCAP allotment.

The Kerala SSLC SAY (Save A Year) supplementary examination 2026 is ongoing for students who were unable to pass the main examination. The SAY result is anticipated in July 2026. Students who are taking the SAY exam are encouraged to continue preparation for the exam despite the pending revaluation result.
