Online Option Confirmation Is Mandatory
That’s the cue for candidates to act. Those who wish to consider their “higher order options” for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied Courses have to log on to the CEE Kerala home page and click on ‘confirm’.
Once the option is confirmed, candidates can edit/delete their unwanted course/college options till October 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM. This step is mandatory for both – those who got admission in the first phase and also for those who missed out an allotment and wish to participate in the second phase allotment.
Fresh Option Registration Opens Up For BHMS
In this regard, it is pertinent to mention that fresh option registration will open up only for the BHMS course at Athurasramam NSS Homoeopathic Medical College.
Therefore, candidates who wish to register for this course have to check the CEE portal and complete the option selection process before the last date.
Which courses are included?
The second phase allotment will be done for State Quota seats in the following courses:
- BAMS
- BHMS
- BSMS
- BUMS
- BSc (Hons.) Agriculture
- BSc (Hons.) Forestry
- Integrated Biology and Microbiology programmes
- BSc (Hons.) Horticulture
- BSc (Hons.) Co-operation & Banking
- BSc (Hons.) Climate Change & Environmental Science
- BTech Biotechnology
- BVSc & AH
- BFSc
The second allotment also includes veterinary course. However, it is clarified that allotment and admission to the veterinary course during this phase will be done as per the final order from the Veterinary Council of India about the extension of the closing date for admission.
When will second allotment results be declared?
The provisional second allotment will be published on October 9, 2026, taking into account the option confirmed up to 5:00 PM on October 8. The second allotment (final) will be declared on October 10, 2026. Those allotted seats under the second phase have to print the allotment memo, make necessary fee payment (or balance fee payment in case of first allotment) and report to the allotted institution within the stipulated time frame.
What if a candidate does not join the allotted institution?
The notification contains an important rider for candidates who make choices during the option confirmation stage. It is advised that candidates select only those courses and colleges which they are willing to join and continue their studies, as those who fail to join within the stipulated time will not be considered for any further centralised allotment for the medical and medical allied courses.
It is also clarified that the fee structure will vary according to the course and institution. In case of self-financed Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges, the notification says, provisional payment of fees as per the 2025-26 fee schedule will be made till the declaration of the 2026-27 fee schedule.
Final Thoughts
KEAM 2026 second allotment provides an additional opportunity for candidates to get upgraded or stick to their preferred course and college, but with limited time left, the primary task is to confirm the options online. Therefore, it is vital to check and confirm only those options which one is willing to accept. In addition, candidates should keep visiting the official website of CEE Kerala for further updates.
