Chhattisgarh: Kalinga University Raipur has opened applications for its entrance examinations for the academic session 2026–27, inviting students to apply for a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
The university will conduct two major entrance exams — the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination and the Kalinga Management Aptitude Test (KAL-MAT) — as part of its admission process. KALSEE is designed for students seeking admission to UG, PG, and PhD courses, while KAL-MAT is specifically for management programmes such as BBA and MBA.
Both examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, with flexible scheduling options. This allows candidates to choose their preferred date and time, making the process more accessible and convenient, especially for students from different regions.
According to the university, the entrance exams have been structured to be student-friendly. One of the key features is the absence of negative marking, which enables candidates to attempt all questions without the risk of losing marks. The institution is also offering scholarships of up to 100% based on students’ performance in the entrance tests, aiming to support meritorious candidates and improve access to higher education.
In addition, the admission process will be first-come, first-served, allowing applicants to secure their seats early and fast-track their college application. The university has highlighted that the entrance exams are recognised and designed to provide access to its academic programmes across multiple disciplines.
