JSS AHER to Host Two Day Workshop on Next Generation Therapeutic Modalities in Mysuru

Workshop to focus on integrating medicinal chemistry and computational intelligence for modern drug design; registrations open for limited seats

Mysuru: JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, will organise a two-day workshop titled “Next Generation Therapeutic Modalities: Integrating Medicinal Chemistry and Computational Intelligence for Modern Drug Design” on March 6–7, 2026.

The workshop is being conducted by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, in association with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Karnataka State Branch.

The event aims to equip participants with insights into modern drug discovery approaches that combine medicinal chemistry with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and network pharmacology. According to the workshop brochure, the programme will explore next-generation therapeutic modalities such as PROTACs, biologics, RNA-based drugs, AI-driven lead optimisation, and systems-level target prediction.

Sessions will be led by industry and academic experts including Dr. Sujay Basu (Eurofins Advinus Discovery Services, Hyderabad), Dr. BVS Suneel Kumar (PI Health Sciences, Hyderabad), Dr. Dhivya Shanmugarajan (Mirai Dynamics, Chennai), Dr. N. Kiruthiga (KMCH College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore), and Dr. Saravanan P (JSSAHER, Mysuru).

The workshop will be held at the Golden Jubilee and Digital Theatre, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru. It will include expert lectures and hands-on training sessions in molecular docking, ADMET analysis, and network biology tools.
