New Delhi: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 to September 23. The original deadline was September 16.
This test is for students seeking admission to Class 6 at Navodaya Vidyalayas for the 2025-26 academic session. Interested and eligible candidates can now register on the official NVS website – navodaya.gov.in.
JNVST 2025 Registration Details
- - The admission application form will be available until September 23. Candidates are permitted to apply only once; previous applications will be rejected.
- - For OBC candidates, reservations will be applied according to the Central List. Those not included in the Central List should apply as general candidates.
- - The online application process is a single-stage submission. All documents, including signatures, certificates, and photographs, must be between 10-100 KB in size.
Eligibility Criteria:
- - Applicants must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015 (both dates inclusive).
- - Applicants should not have repeated Class 6 before the 2024-25 academic session.
JNVST 2025 Exam Pattern:
- Mental Ability Test:** 40 questions, 50 marks, 60 minutes
- Arithmetic Test:** 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
- Language Test:** 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
- Total:** 80 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours
The JNVST 2025 will be conducted in two phases:
- Phase 1:** January 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM
- Phase 2:** April 12, 2025, at 11:30 AM
