JNU Celebrates 132nd Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar

The 5-day event will host competitions and seminars on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's legacy.

New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University is organizing celebratory programs for the 132nd Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar from 10th-14th April. The %-day event will be inaugurated by Prof. Santishree D. Pandit, Vice-Chancellor JNU. 

As per the official notice, the programs scheduled on 10th April are a Book and poster exhibition and a research scholars exhibition that is titled “Towards Epistemology of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Thought and Philosophy”. On 11th April, there’s a faculty member seminar with the same title. The third day has an essay writing seminar for JNU students. The topic of the essay is “Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar: The Nation Builder”. On 13th April, there’s a public lecture on the same topic. It will be delivered by Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, Member of Parliament. The 5th day will host a Floral Tribute and address by Vice-Chancellor JNU.
