New Delhi: JNU authorities notified vacations for its faculty members after a duration of three years. It was a much needed vacation for the academic community who have been working tirelessly continuously. 

JNU came up with a notice on June, 24 2022 mentioning, the academic council in its 160th meeting held on June 21 has approved the recommendation of the committee on the academic calendar and other related issues to provide break/vacation for faculty members with effect from 27/06/2022 to 08/07/2022 without extension of current semesters. Deans/Chairpersons of school/special centres will ensure timely completion of teaching by arranging extra classes whenever necessary.
