JMI Vice Chancellor Releases 2025 26 School Admission Prospectus; Multi City Admission Test Introduced

Online Applications Begin from 1st February

 

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mazhar Asif, has officially released the admission prospectus for the university’s schools for the academic session 2025-26. The prospectus is now available on the website of the Controller of Examinations, JMI, at https://admission.jmi.ac.in.

The launch event also saw the presence of JMI Registrar, Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, and Dr. Ahteshamul Haque, Deputy Controller of Examinations, JMI.

Key Highlights of Admissions 2025-26

  • Applications are open for classes Preparatory, Nursery, I, VI, and IX.
  • A new multi-city admission test facility has been introduced for classes VI and IX, allowing students to appear for entrance exams in Kolkata, Srinagar, Lucknow, Patna, and Delhi.
  • A separate application link has been provided for foreign nationals and NRI applicants.
  • Prof. Asif emphasized that the multi-city admission test initiative aims to increase accessibility for students from remote areas, fostering greater linguistic and regional diversity within Jamia schools. He noted that this would contribute significantly to students’ holistic development.

Application Details

  • Online applications for admission to Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Middle School, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (Self-Finance), Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (Self-Finance), and Mushir Fatma Nursery School will be available from 1st February 2025.
  • The last date for submission of online applications, along with a fee of ₹500, is 21st February 2025.

Balak Mata Centres Admissions

                For admissions to the Balak Mata Centres, offline application forms will be available from 5th March 2025, with a submission deadline of 15th April 2025. The application fee for these centres is ₹50, and forms can be obtained and submitted at designated locations in Matia Mahal, Qassabpura, and Beriwala.

Prof. Muslim Khan, Chairman of the School Prospectus Committee, and Prof. Iqtidar Mohd Khan, VC Nominee of the Committee, extended their gratitude to all committee members for their efforts in ensuring the timely release of the prospectus. Dr. Haque acknowledged the unwavering support of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar in streamlining the admission process.
