New Delhi: Munna Khalid of Jamia Milia Islamia University (JMI) won two bronze medals in the 5th National Para-Badminton Championship 2022-23. The championship was organized by Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University and Garv Foundation from March 23 to 26, 2023 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. 

According to the official release, Munna Khalid is a Ph.D. student in the Hindi Department. He won a bronze medal in the singles event and another bronze medal in the doubles event with his partner Neeraj. Earlier in March, Khalid won the gold medal in the Delhi State Championship 2023 and became the Delhi champion.

He is currently ranked 26th in the world, 14th in Asia, and 3rd in India
