New Delhi :- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) proudly announces the outstanding achievement of its students Favas K from the Department of Economics, Sonwane Ram from the BA Programme, and Muhammed Faheem from Peace and Conflict Studies, who clinched the championship title in the 37^th Inter-University North-West zone Youth Festival ’24. The Youth Festival, organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), was held at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak from February 8^th to February 13^th, 2024, attracting participation from various universities across North West India.

The remarkable performance of the JMI Quiz Team underscores their exceptional talent and dedication. The team was also adjudged the second-best literary team in the North-West Zone. They will represent the North Zone and JMI at the National Youth Festival, held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana from 28^th March 2024 to 1^st April 2024. This is the fifth time when the Quiz team has qualified for the National Finals, a testament to their consistent excellence and dedication.

Team manager Pushkar Kumar Dhanolia accompanied the team. The Dean, of Students’ Welfare (DSW) Prof. Seemi Farhat Basir and the Quiz Club Coordinator Prof. Mohammed Kamalun Nabi, congratulated the team for their achievement and wished them success in future endeavours.
