New Delhi: It is a matter of great pride that Ms. Harshita Shukla, a 4th semester student of M.Sc. Development Extension, Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension (DACEE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has bagged a Silver Medal in 1500 m race at the 82nd Delhi State Annual Athletics Championship 2022 held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
Last year too, on October 3, 2021, Harshita had brought laurels for the Department and University as she bagged a Silver Medal at the 2nd Elite Women’s Haryana State Boxing Championships 2021-22 organized by the Haryana Boxing Sangh in the Fly Weight 54kg-57kg category.
Harshita excels academically too and between her rigorous practice sessions participates in all the academic and co- curricular activities organized by the department.
