New Delhi: Girls Basketball Team of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has won the "Collegiate Slum Showdown (NOIDA)-2024" Championship held in NOIDA last week. The team won a prize money of Rs.50,000 in the championship.

Sixty (60) teams from all zones registered for the championship. Out of them, 15 Teams were from the North Zone.  JMI Girls Basketball Team defeated Kurukshetra University in the final match.

JMI team members included Sadia Zarrin (Captain), Kavya Dwivedi, Pratishtha Singh, Aaisha Ehsaan, Mehak Seth, Aditi and Shivani Gupta.
