Jaipur, June 2026: The deadline for applicants to the B.Des and M.Des programs at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) in Jaipur for the 2026–27 academic year will close on June 15, 2026. With applications now open, JKLU encourages all prospective students to seize the opportunity to enhance their design skills through industry-focused education before the deadline.
The Bachelor of Design at JK Lakshmipat University is a four-year undergraduate program that nurtures design thinking and creativity along with the integration of technology and user-centered innovation. The creative economy is changing, and so is this design program. By incorporating interdisciplinary approaches, the program empowers students to tackle real-world issues. Contemporary design is covered through a multitude of studio projects, engagement with design practitioners, and a plethora of learning opportunities.
If you have completed Class 12 or its equivalent, with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized board, you can apply. The cost of this program is approximately ₹3.51 lakh per year. Derived from a creative and research-oriented approach, this two-year postgraduate program is an advanced study in design. Through interdisciplinary frameworks and a systems approach, the M.Des program equips students with the knowledge and skills to address the challenges of today by fostering innovation in user experience and product design. If you have a degree of a minimum of three years duration in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 60% or equivalent CGPA, you can apply. The cost of this program is approximately ₹3.02 lakh per year.
