JEE Mains 2022: JEE Main 2022 Exam Dates are revised by the National Testing Agency which released the new dates for the national level engineering exam on March 14, 2022. JEE Mains Exam 2022 will now be conducted on April 21, 24, 25, 29, and May 1, 4, 2022. Candidates can go through the revised schedule of JEE Mains 2022 from the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency released JEE Main 2022 Application Form along with JEE Main 2022 exam Dates on its official website. Candidates can start JEE Main 2022 Registration Process by providing the asked information and submit the form in an online mode to appear for JEE Main Exam 2022. The last to submit JEE Main 2022 Application Form for Session 1 is March 31, 2022.
JEE Main Eligibility 2022
Candidates are required to ensure that they fulfill the JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022 before appearing for NTA JEE Main 2022 exam. The basic eligibility criteria is prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam.
Candidates who will not be able to fulfill JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria will not be able to apply and will face the cancellation of candidature at anytime during admission process.
JEE Main Application Form 2022
JEE Main Application Form 2022 has been released by the National Testing Agency for JEE Main April session 2022 (Phase 1) on March 1, 2022 and the last date for the submission of the form is March 31, 2022.
According to the information provided in the official notification, only one application form has to be submitted by a candidate for each session. The application window for JEE Main May Session 2022 (Phase 2) will be re-opened on April 8, 2022.
The candidates applying for JEE Main 2022 exam must also note that the 'JEE Main Application Correction Window' is not available this year. They are advised to fill the JEE Main Registration Form 2022 very carefully.
JEE Main 2022 application form is to be filled in an online mode. At the time of filling the application form, candidates have to upload the scanned images, education certificates, signatures as well as other documents.
Steps to fill JEE Main 2022 Application Form
Step 1 - Go to the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.)
Step 2 - Click on the link of JEE Main Application Form 2022
Step 3 - Click on ‘New Registration’, fill in the required details and click on ‘submit’ button to complete registration
Note: After the completion of JEE Main 2022 registration, aspirants will receive an email and a message on their registered mobile number and ID with details of application form number and password. They are required to save the details of registration very carefully.
Step 4 - After registration, candidates will be redirected to fill the detailed application form. They will have to provide details of education qualifications, address of communication and permanent address, parents details, and the exam center preferences.
Step 5 - Next step will be to upload a scanned image of passport size photographs and signature. They should be as per the defined dimensions and size.
Step 6 - Payment of the application fee in online mode only through Net banking/UPI, Debit Card/Credit Card
Step 7 - After the successful payment of the fee, application form will be automatically submitted.
Step 8 - Candidates are advised to download the filled application form and take the printout. The form must be kept safely until the admission process is completed.
JEE Main Exam Center 2022
National Testing Agency has announced the details of the JEE Main 2022 exam centers along with the release of the official brochure. Notably, the number of JEE Main Exam 2022 cities has been increased to 514 in India and 13 abroad.
Also, the choice of exam cities displayed to the candidates appearing for JEE Main 2022 exam will be on the basis of the permanent and correspondence address filled during JEE Main Application Form 2022. Earlier, the candidates were able to use the exam centers listed by NTA anywhere in the country or abroad.
Candidates, while filling the JEE Main Application Form 2022, will have to fill out four choices of the exam cities. Out of the four options, they will be allotted one exam city to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam.
The final allotment of the JEE Main 2022 exam cities will be released by NTA on the admit card. Candidates will be required to login details along with JEE Main 2022 application number and date of birth to check their exam center.
It must be noted that the allotment of the exam center, date, time, slot by NTA will be final and no request will be entertained.
JEE Main Admit Card 2022
JEE Main 2022 Admit Card will be released by NTA on the date announced by the test conducting agency. JEE Main Admit Card will be essential for the students to carry with them during the exam and the absence of same will prohibit them to appear for JEE Main.
To download JEE Main Admit Card 2022 candidates will have to login using their form number and date of birth. Once available, the admit card must be downloaded and take the printout of the JEE Main Admit Card.
JEE Main Admit Card 2022 will consist the details such as the address of the exam center, exam date and time, candidate’s name, picture, signature and the details of the paper.

3. Login by providing the details of application form and date of birth
4. Admit Card will be displayed. Candidates must download it and get the printout along with multiple photocopies.
JEE Main Result 2022
The result of JEE Main 2022 exam will be released by the National Testing Agency separately for all the sessions. The final result will have the details of the candidate’s All India Rank and JEE main cut-off.
To check their result, students will have to log in the official website. They will get the details about the percentile score of the subjects and the aggregate percentile score.
Steps to check JEE Main 2022 Result

3. Enter application number and date of birth/password
4. Scorecard/result will be displayed on the screen
5. Download the result and get the printout.
JEE Main Seat Allotment 2022
JoSAA will release the JEE Main 2022 seat allotment results in an online mode at its official portal. Only those candidates who will complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling process will be considered for JEE Main seat allotment process.
As an online JEE Main counselling 2022 will be conducted by JoSAA in several rounds, JEE Main Seat Allotment 2022 will also be announced accordingly. After each round of seat allotment, candidates will be provided with a particular window to decide whether they will accept the admission or proceed for next round.
Students will have to select out of float, freeze, slide or withdraw during the seat allotment process of JEE Main 2022.
JEE Main Participating institutes 2022
JEE Main 2022 Participating institutes are those colleges that participate in JoSAA counselling for admission in Engineering, Architecture and Planning courses.
Apart from the participating institutes, many colleges also offer admission on the basis of the JEE Main score but are not part of JoSAA counselling. Such colleges organize their own separate counselling process for the admission.
In India there are total 25 IIITs, 31 NITs and 19 other GFTIs that participate in JoSAA counselling for the admission to the engineering courses
