JEE Advanced 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad is one of the 23 IITs in India and was established in 2016. The institute has been placed at the 93rd position in the Education Ministry’s National Institutional Ranking Framework under the engineering category. This is the first time IIT Dharwad bagged a spot in the NIRF engineering rankings.

IIT Dharwad did not get a spot in the list of Times Higher Education (THE) rankings in 2024 and in QS World University Rankings 2024.
