New Delhi. :  Jamia Millia Islamia University tweeted a circular related to reopening of university campur. The circular is about the university reopening dictates when online and offline classes will be held and that exams will be held depending on whether classes are the former or latter. Safety measures for offline classes require students to carry a valid identity card and an RTPCR report due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The university will reopen in a phased manner as it considers the fact that students will be travelling across the country from various regions in India to reach the campus, which is located in Delhi. Offline classes will begin on March 2 for post graduates and on March 15 for under graduates. Classes and coursework for Ph.D. scholars will be conducted in their usual manner.

All campus staff are required to follow COVID protocols and guidelines issued by the government of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare when they are working on campus in order to ensure and enforce COVID appropriate behavior during campus working hours. Hostels for male and female students are currently under renovations and limited seats are available for students. Halls of residence will be monitored to observe renovation progress and once completed, new lists of students for hostel allotments will be created for both hostels. Canteens will be reopened on March 2 with permission from the Registrar before being reopened, while indoor game rooms, gym and department libraries will be available for use from February 21st onwards.
