B.Tech CSE and AI Training Scholarships Announced

The School of FutureTech at ITM Skills University in Navi Mumbai has recently announced scholarships for the 2026 intake for the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Program. Participants can receive a scholarship of up to 50% on the first-year tuition at the University. The 2026 intake of students will undergo a merit-based scholarship on a combined score of their performance in a two-part selection process, which consists of an entrance exam and an interview.

This initiative serves to promote the university's commitment to supporting students with an interest in the relatively new and rapidly expanding market of AI. Companies within the healthcare and financial technology sectors of India, among many other industries, are aggressively recruiting new employees with the ability to interact and operate with AI. The School of FutureTech's new scholarship program provides an extraordinary opportunity for students who intend to pursue an engineering-related undergraduate degree specialising in the field of AI.

Who Can Apply: Eligibility Overview

The scholarship is available to students who have finished their Class 12 schooling in the Science stream with a specialisation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and have obtained at least a 60% aggregate in their 10+2 board examinations.

Applicants are required to submit an official application form to ITM Skills University in order to be considered for the scholarship. Candidates will be invited to take the entrance exam if they pass the academic threshold.

Candidates should keep in mind that being eligible for the scholarship does not take the place of consideration. The scholarship is awarded for performance in both stages of evaluation and is, therefore, competitive. Students of the recognised boards (i.e. CBSE, state, and ICSE) will be considered for the scholarship, should they meet the requisite % in the PCM combination. The scholarship aims to invite students aspiring to have a career in the areas of machine learning, automation, cloud computing, etc., in addition to AI-based software systems and applications.

Two-Stage Selection Process: CEO Challenge and CTO Challenge Explained

Scholarship selection consists of two steps. The first step requires applicants to choose one of two entrance exams that assess different cognitive skills. The CEO Challenge consists of 50 questions that assess one’s ability to solve problems and make decisions. The CTO Challenge, also consisting of 50 questions, focuses on reasoning and analytical skills, as well as technical and domain problem-solving among students.

Applicants who pass the entrance exam are invited to participate in the second stage, which consists of an interview conducted by a member of the university staff. The interview focuses on assessing the interviewee's personality, goals, and overall fit for the B.Tech CSE and AI program. The final determination of the amount of scholarship awarded to an applicant is made by summing the applicant's score from both stages. The candidates who score highest in each of the two stages have the best chance of receiving the full scholarship for the first year, which covers 50% of tuition.
