ITM Skills Academy and ICICI Bank Launch SRM Program

ITM Skills Academy, in partnership with ICICI Bank, has launched its Sales and Relationship Management (SRM) Program to prepare recent graduates for Relationship Manager roles. The program combines classroom training, banking operations, sales, customer relationship management, and compliance education, with no registration, training, accommodation, or meal costs for eligible candidates.

Mumbai, June 2026: ITM Skills Academy’s Sales and Relationship Management (SRM) Program, in partnership with ICICI Bank, is specially designed to train new graduates for Relationship Manager positions in the Banking Industry. At ITM Skills Academy, the SRM Program combines classroom instruction with training in the banking sector, customer relationship management, sales, and compliance. Tailored for graduates with an interest in a career in banking, the SRM Program is designed to integrate classroom learning with the banking industry’s skill needs.

The program participants are trained on ICICI Bank’s corporate culture, ethics, and vision, and are made familiar with internal banking guidelines and the banking regulatory framework. The training program is also geared towards the development of 360-degree banking customer service and the skills of communication, selling, and presentation.Training is a combination of clinic-based learning, grooming sessions, and 15 days of facilitated classroom instruction at the ITM Skills Academy, all led by industry professionals from banking, finance, and sales. The SRM Program equips successful participants with the skills and knowledge needed for a career as a Relationship Manager. To be eligible, applicants must be under the age of 25, have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and have less than one year of work experience. Graduates of engineering, diplomas, chartered accountancy, and MBAs are also ineligible. One of the primary advantages of the SRM Program is that there are no expenses for enrollment, preparation, lodging, or food during the at ITM campus residential program.

Anupam Sinha, Vice President, ITM Group of Institutions, stated that the banking industry is consistently generating job openings for young individuals, and that the banking industry is increasingly focusing on job-ready graduates and not solely those with academic qualifications. “ICICI Bank’s SRM Program equips a graduate with distinct Relationship Manager skills, such as customer handling, sales, and compliance, that a Relationship Manager should possess on day one. We want candidates to enter that position as ready as possible,” he stated.

Since 2012, ITM Skills Academy has been training individuals using the source-train-deploy strategy. The academy claims to have successfully trained and placed over 160,000 individuals through agreements with major players such as ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, and HDFC Bank. The academy has residential training facilities in Mumbai, Warangal, Noida, Raipur, Bangalore, and Vadodara, and operates in all 25 states. The academy states that in the past five years, the number of applications has grown by 200%, indicating an increased interest in employability-focused programs.
